Google Ads Case Study.

The Challenge.

This client reached out to us because they felt stuck in their business and did not want history repeating itself. Their website was old, not mobile optimized, unclear on how to get in touch with them, and overall difficult to navigate. We wanted to build a package that could get results quickly, while also coupling in long-term marketing strategies to keep growing it as time goes on. Initially, we were brought in to consult with their internal team for marketing, but quickly they decided to hire us to take it over. We had to work through multiple issues such as domain expiring, Google Ads verification failure, and moving the old design website that they transitioned (and hated) from Bluehost to Squarespace back to WordPress.


The Solution.

The first thing we did was review the current marketing strategies in place, which were limited. We then had a strategy meeting with the client to determine the KPI’s and goals of working together. Once we understood the ultimate goals were new clients, phone calls, and additional traffic we built out a custom plan that focused on a blend of paid and organic traffic. We analyzed their current website, migrated and rebuilt it in WordPress for ease of use for them and optimized service specific pages to drive paid traffic. 

In the meantime, we started our SEO audit and quality audit, and website quality audit (you can learn more about what that entails by clicking here). Once we got the information from our audit, we immediately hit he ground running with the technical updates, and keyword analysis to start building a strong SEO presence along side our paid campaigns.

On Google, they wanted to focus on anxiety and depression, along with ADHD and autism testing. We did extensive keyword research and built out two campaigns for each to split-test keywords and creatives. As the campaign was learning we managed negative keywords, and added additional exact and phrase match keywords that were relevant to drive the CPC and CPA down. Continuing to manage the Google Ads campaign on a daily basis due to the limited budget allowed us to ensure a positive ROI.

Within 2-weeks of running a very small budget on Google Ads we were able to scale up from 50+ ideal calls and scheduled sessions to 100+ per week while still maintaining a healthy CPC, CTR and conversion rate.
